Practicum is a special project week at CalArts for undergraduate design students. In this conjunction, we were invited to propose a workshop. Students created a poster edition under the topic, Improvisational Design. They worked in groups throughout the week to create the composition. Every day, we threw them a new curve ball. They mastered all the demands of the project really well. We were very lucky going into this week. The group of creative young minds had no problems working together, challenging their own decisions and really leading an honest dialogue while in the process of sculpting their own result. Our hats go to them.
