Did you know that Chicago and Lucerne, Switzerland are sister cities? There is quite a vivid exchange program between the two cities. For three months at a time, Swiss artists come to our city and enjoy the rich culture of the arts. While its a bit sad that Chicago artists don’t get the same opportuntiy, the most recent Lucerener, jazz musician and label owner of Veto Reccords, Christoph Erb, has truly made his time here an exchange between many. Christoph set up house shows, performed concerts, and recorded many projects with local improvisors during this stay. Through his constant engagement, we got to know him and were asked to create cd sleeves to house the new work that was created during his time in Chicago.
