One night, Anders swang by the studio to drop off some artwork we had up at Lula Cafe. We sat together and talked about the world and the world’s musings. On his way out, Anders spontaneously said, “I’d like to draw over your paintings”. As we are big fans of Anders’ work and know he is an amazing draftsman, painter and fine human, we knew we had enough trust and jazz-ma-tazz to make that idea real. These paintings were made together with Anders Nilsen for the collaborative painting show, Good Fences Make Good Neighbors that was up at the Fillintheblankgallery between January and June of 2011.
