This print has the title of the great story, Gulliver’s Travel by Irish writer Jonathan Swift. In this four part voyage, Gulliver seeks many adventures, such as the one to Lilliput, Brobdingnag, Laputa, Balnibarbi, Luggnagg, Glubbdubdrib, and Japan. The story is fascinating and the logistics of this novel being published is like a thriller. It’s never been out of print, since it got published back in 1726! In any case, when this print came together, Nick was working on a small zine cover for the band The Caribbean and I was working on an abstract geometric composition for a painting. Our goal was to experiment in the generation of an image that would carry a narrative impact while still maintaining an openness towards an unknown ending.
