This poster is for a big ‘ol holiday rock show at the Empty Bottle benefiting Chicago Council for the Homeless. It’s a great feeling to be able to use our craft to make stuff that might actually help folks. The first draft of the design was much more abstract, and we struggled with the imagery being able to touch on hope, loss, warmth etc. but somewhere along the line this little tennenbaum managed to sneak it’s way in. It ended up being the blueprint to layout the type treatment.
