Let There Be Geo

Let There Be Geo at Columbia College’s A+D Gallery was an exhibit of contemporary artists who utilize geometric forms in their work. Nadine and I were so psyched to be asked to put work in the show – we volunteered to make a special exhibit poster commemorating the show. There were some heavy hitters in this event such as: Cody Hudson, Sam Prekop, Archer Prewitt, Maya Hayuk, Jason Urban, just to name of few. Instead of using our usual imagery, we asked each of the artists in the show to submit to us a bitmap file. From there, we created this super geo-firework explosion. As always, this print was improvised from start to finish, capturing the excitement of the moment.
