Longman & Eagle

Longman & Eagle is a bar, restaurant as well as inn located in the Logan Square neighborhood of Chicago. This visionary place houses local artist’s installations in the upstairs quarters. They also maintain a cool blog, website, in-house newspaper, feature suppliers, exquisite menus, specials and give an all around taste of how cultural activities can easily be an integral part of a small economic hub such as a restaurant. Growing up in Switzerland, this model is not foreign to me that a restaurant can head up the cultural programming of a small town. This job meant a lot to us, because it’s what we envision art can be—commodity and currency at the same time.
