A big thanks to local musician and presenter, Mike Reed, for commissioning this poster for the legendary music organization AACM and their Nomadic Sound Experiment Series. The AACM has been a cornerstone in Chicago’s African American music community, furthering the growth of avant garde jazz, classial, and world music since 1965. Reed himself was inducted into the organization in 2005. The Nomadic Sound Experiment is a traveling bi-monthly series focusing on reinvigorating the AACM and raising funds for the AACM Music School. And who would have thought that the type Frutiger looks so good with nomadic movement?
