There are tons of really inspiring print initiatives happening these days. There is a definite sense that the print medium is making a huge comeback on a global scale. Folks are tired of the lifeless limitations that computers and computer generated imagery have made common place. A growing number of people are not only discovering old print processes, but learning to print themselves. They are rediscovering this tactile and messy world, especially mediums like screen print, letterpress and wood block printing. Print based shows are popping up all across the the US and Europe and we were lucky enough to be involved in two really great ones this month. One, Printervention, here in Chicago, the other one, La Bataille, in Nantes, France.
