The Show ‘n Tell Show is a local graphic arts talk show hosted by the talented and hilarious Michael Renaud, Zach Dodson, and SpokesMom. Once a month, folks convene to hear and share first hand accounts of working in the creative arts. The show offers artists, designers, illustrators, and photographers a chance to talk, laugh, and cry about some of their best and worst projects. September 6th, 2009 marks the one year anniversary of The Show ‘n Tell show and Mike and Zach were kind enough to ask us to make the poster for the event. For this project, we wanted to hint at a narrative to suit the storytelling feel of the show while tapping into a wood-block print feel. The dramatic perspective in the format helps the narrative.
