I Wear Myself in the Morning
Print remains a crucial tool for us to investigate the edges of experimental practice. Though we are mostly known for our layered and intricate approach to printmaking, in this work, we rely on a more direct approach, allowing iconography to interact quickly, without interference, extraneous elements, or overworked compositional strategies. In I Wear Myself in the Morning, our text ends with the question, “Rainbows are actually full circles, partially blocked by the horizon. What else does the horizon hide from you?” When images hover in dialogue, what space does the viewer evoke for themselves? This work stands as a reminder of the question and a metaphor for the answer. View the performance here.
