Mouse On Mars & Chicago Symphony Orchestra

Germany’s Mouse on Mars early sound epitomized the fractured digital funk explorations of the 90′s electronica boom. Their everything-but-the-kitchen-sink approach to computer-based music, set the tone for much of the electronic music to follow. Extremely influential and just plain fun, Mouse on Mars have continued to push forward with their sound and approach, in recent years, adding a live drummer to the mix. For this very special event, the German duo teamed up with members of the Chicago Symphony Orchestra to present 3 new compositions. For this poster we wanted to switch things up a bit from our more established mode of operation, trading in texture for clean, cartoon-like imagery.
