When we find downtime at the studio, usually a quiet Saturday or Sunday afternoon, we rummage through our fabric remnants to see what we can find. There always seems to be some surprise lingering towards the bottom of the bin. When the moment is right, we use these remnants as slow collage to trace a path connecting our past, present, and future. Noun is our most recent attempt. This medium-sized quilt and it’s companion meander between functionality and fine art, sitting comfortably in their simplicity and obtuseness.
