I Wear Myself in the Morning

Video Documentation of Performance
Originally performed at Haymarket House
Chicago, IL
2024

I Wear Myself in the Morning is a performance distilling the nature of surfaces and their relationship to personhood. Across the three-minute performance, we explore the ephemeral quality of images, the metaphorical weight of meaning, and the seemingly intangible qualities of a simple surface. Our short performance maps poetry and visualization into a distinct gestalt between seeing, reading, and music. The work is a culmination of several tangents long present in our work, but only recently converging.
