Centered Equator
Centered Equator looks to find that elusive silver lining. We looked really hard, but we only found pink linings, which we actually prefer. The print was produced on the occasion of an invitational exhibition curated by graphic wizard Jay Ryan at Rotofugi called Stay Positive. It's not often we make a stand alone print for print's sake, so we poured a lot of ideas and techniques into this one. Experimental techniques included the use of Goo Gone for stencil generation, dye sublimation, Trompe-l'œil artist tape, and squiggles. The exhibit features new prints by Aaron Draplin, Amy Martin, Anne Benjamin, Ashley Elander, Ben Blount, Bobby Dixon, Bryn Perrott, Diana Sudyka, Jason Polan, Jay Ryan, Jen Corace, Jenna Blazevich, Jenny Schmid, Judge, Keiler Roberts, Landland, Little Friends of Printmaking, Molly Costello, Nicole Gustafsson, Rachal Duggan, Ryan Duggan, Sage Perrott, Sara Parker, and ourselves.
